State Bank of India (SBI) to Solarise over 40 lakh homes in next two years. SBI announced the plans to take place by Fiscal Year 27. This will ensure energy independence, and support net zero 2070. Investment funds are likely near Rs. 610 crores. Solar rooftop programme will align the country with a positive push towards renewable energy.
