In a recent incident on Wednesday evening, a major fire erupted in three furniture stores located in the Kirti Nagar area of West Delhi. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, and authorities suspect a short circuit as the possible cause of the blaze. Kirti Nagar is well-known as the largest furniture market in Asia, making this incident a significant event for the area. Distressing visuals of the fire quickly circulated on social media, showing the entire building engulfed in flames and emitting thick plumes of black smoke.

Fire Breaks Out in Kirti Nagar Furniture Stores: No Injuries Reported

The first call about the fire was received by the Kirti Nagar police station at 6:32 pm, with a total of 13 more calls coming in later. Thankfully, fire department personnel promptly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, averting any injuries. Authorities have initiated an assessment of the damages and are currently in the process of collecting statements from the affected shop owners.

The three furniture showrooms affected by the fire were identified as Me Casha, Godrej, and Durian. At this point, the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
