According to the details, the central government is coordinating with the Goa government to promote cargo and cruise activities. Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, highlighted the steps taken to enhance Goa’s maritime connectivity. As per the available details, the government is constructing an International and Domestic Cruise terminal and a ferry terminal at Mormugao Port.
The estimated cost of this project is Rs 101.72 crore. It is expected that the project will be completed by March 2025. After the completion of this project, Goa will become the key gateway for trade and tourism.
