
New Delhi: In a major move to strengthen India’s paints and coatings sector, the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) and the Indian Paint & Powder Coating Association (IPPMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership aims to accelerate industry growth, encourage innovation, and position India as a global hub in the field.
The collaboration will focus on key areas such as policy advocacy to support industry-friendly regulations, technology transfer and innovation to modernise production, networking opportunities for businesses, and promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
Representing IPPMA at the signing ceremony were Ranjit Singh (President), Dr. Kamal Jain Sethia (Secretary), Deepak Verma (Vice President), Deepak Jindal (Treasurer), and Manish Malhotra/ Paintvision(Media Convener). From PHDCCI, Dr. Ranjit Mehta (CEO & Secretary General) and Naveen Seth (Deputy Secretary General) participated.

The chamber maintains direct communication with the Government of India, from Secretary-level officials to Ministers, and with Indian embassies worldwide.
