In a regulatory filing, Suzlon said the orders comprise two repeat contracts of 153 MW each for Yanara’s firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects in Barmer district.

With the latest contracts, Suzlon will supply and install 102 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 3 MW, using hybrid lattice towers.

The projects form part of Yanara’s broader FDRE portfolio in Rajasthan, which aggregates to around 800 MWp and combines wind, solar and energy storage solutions to deliver round-the-clock clean power.

Suzlon said it currently holds about a 44% market share of Rajasthan’s installed wind capacity of 5.2 GW, with over 2.3 GW already commissioned in the state.

The company is also executing additional engineering, procurement and construction projects totalling 791 MW in Rajasthan.

Power generated from the Barmer projects will partly meet Yanara’s power purchase agreement obligations with utilities including NTPC and NHPC. The orders come shortly after Yanara’s 115 MW co-located solar-wind hybrid project in Maharashtra, which includes a smaller Suzlon wind component.

Suzlon said the repeat orders underscore its technology capabilities and execution track record in high-temperature and high-wind regions such as Rajast han.
