Synopsis: Edtech firm PhysicsWallah said its wholly owned subsidiary Penpencil Edu Services has acquired 1.76 acres of land in Ranchi for about ₹69.5 crore to support future business expansion.
 New Delhi: PhysicsWallah Ltd on Monday said its wholly owned subsidiary, Penpencil Edu Services Pvt Ltd, has acquired 1.76 acres of land in Ranchi, Jharkhand, for a consideration of ₹69.49 crore, as the edtech company looks to support its future.

In a regulatory filing, PhysicsWallah said the subsidiary executed a sale deed on December 23, 2025, to purchase the land located at village Tupudana in Ranchi district. The transaction value excludes applicable transfer charges and stamp duties, the company said.The land was acquired from Sudhir Kumar Tiwary and Vedaant Tiwary and will be used to strengthen the company’s physical and operational footprint as it scales its education services. PhysicsWallah clarified that the transaction does not involve any related parties and has been executed on an arm’s-length basis.The company added that the property is free from encumbrances and was acquired through a registered sale deed. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and has also been uploaded on the company’s website.
