New Delhi: United Spirits Ltd, the Diageo India arm, has announced a change in its senior management under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s listing norms, notifying stock exchanges that Rajesh V Menon, Chief Operating Officer – RCB, will cease to be a senior management personnel (SMP) of the company following his transfer to Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited (RCSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary.

In its filing dated January 30, the company said the change will be effective from the close of business hours on January 31, 2026, with the transfer taking effect from February 1, 2026. The move is an internal reorganisation rather than a resignation, the company clarified, and no fresh appointment details have been disclosed.
The intimation, signed by company secretary and compliance officer Pragya Kaul, has been submitted to both BSE and NSE. United Spirits said the disclosure is being made in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Market participants typically track such senior management movements for potential implications on strategy and execution, especially in businesses linked to marquee assets like RCB. However, the company has not indicated any change in operational priorities alongside the transfer.
