Mumbai: IT services firm Datamatics Global Services has received an order from the Income Tax Department under Section 144C(1) of the Income Tax Act for the assessment year 2023-24, proposing additions related to transfer pricing adjustments, the company informed stock exchanges on Saturday.

In its regulatory filing, the company said the order pertains to the scrutiny assessment for AY24, where the assessing officer has proposed adjustments to arrive at the arm’s length price of the company’s international transactions. The order was received on January 30, 2026.
Datamatics said it is evaluating the matter and will exercise its right to appeal before the appropriate appellate authority within the prescribed timelines. The company added that it believes it has adequate factual and legal grounds to substantiate its position.
“As such, there is no material impact on the financials, operations or other activities of the company,” Datamatics said in the filing, indicating that the proposed tax demand is not expected to affect its business outlook at this stage.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, which requires listed entities to inform investors about material regulatory and legal developments.
