In a regulatory filing, the company said that after the filing of an application concerning procedural steps in the case on January 30, 2026 (New York time), the concerned court passed a procedural order in terms of the application. The company termed the disclosure as a further update to its earlier clarifications made to the exchanges over the past year.

Separately, the company said counsel for the defendants has agreed to accept service on behalf of the defendants without accepting the jurisdiction of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, while reserving all legal defences, including on jurisdiction. The defendants also intend to move to dismiss the SEC’s complaint or file responsive pleadings.

Adani Green reiterated that it is not a party to the proceedings and that no charges have been brought against the company. It also said that, as clarified earlier, the defendants have not been charged with violations of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, adding that there are no charges of bribery or corruption against them.
