The move comes as demand for wiring products remains strong, offering room for established electrical brands to expand into adjacent categories. The company said the launch is aimed at addressing the growing need for safe, reliable and high-performance wiring solutions for residential applications.

Bajaj Secura Wires will be offered in four variants — Secura (FR), Secura Plus (HR-FR), Secura Green (FR-LSH) and Secura Green Plus (ZH-FR). The products feature over 99.9% copper purity, are flame-retardant and halogen-free, and are designed to be moisture-resistant with anti-termite and anti-rodent protection, the company said. The range is also RoHS and REACH compliant.

Available in multiple colours, the wires will be sold in sizes ranging from 0.75 sqmm to 6.00 sqmm, and in 90-metre and 180-metre pack sizes. The company said the offering comes with a 100% length guarantee and 101% conductivity, aimed at reinforcing consistency and reliability for both electricians and end users.

Rajesh Naik, COO – Lighting Solutions at Bajaj Electricals, said the foray into wires is a strategic expansion of the company’s electrical solutions portfolio and aligns with its plan to build an integrated, end-to-end electrical ecosystem for homes and businesses.

The launch marks another step in Bajaj Electricals’ effort to leverage its brand in lighting and appliances to scale up adjacent electrical categories, as competition intensifies in the broader electricals and consumer durables market.
