New Delhi: Tips Music Limited on Tuesday said the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department, Mumbai, has initiated an inspection, search and seizure operation at the company’s accounts office.

In a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, the company said the operation commenced on February 17, 2026 and remains ongoing.
“The Company is in the process of collating and responding to all the queries raised by the GST Department and accordingly final report relating to search and seizure operation will be concluded as per the laid down procedures,” the company said in its exchange communication.
Cooperation with Authorities
Tips Music stated that its officers are fully cooperating with GST officials during the course of the operation. It added that any material development following the conclusion of the search will be intimated in due course.
The company also clarified that its business operations continue as usual and that the ongoing inspection has not disrupted day-to-day functioning.
Shares of Tips Music Limited may remain in focus as investors track developments related to the GST probe. Regulatory inspections often attract heightened market scrutiny, particularly in sectors such as media and entertainment where revenue streams are diversified across digital platforms, licensing and streaming.
Tips Music, formerly known as Tips Industries Limited, is one of India’s established music labels with a catalogue spanning film soundtracks and independent releases. The company has benefited in recent years from rising digital streaming revenues and increased monetisation of legacy content.
While the company has not disclosed the nature of the queries raised by the GST authorities, it emphasised that operations remain unaffected at this stage.
