Mumbai: Royal Orchid Hotels Limited on Friday informed the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India that Mr. Pavanjeet Singh Sandhu has resigned as an Independent Director of Ksheer Sagar Developers Pvt Ltd (KSDPL).

The resignation, communicated via email dated February 17, 2026, was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
While the filing was brief and procedural in nature, such board-level changes often draw investor attention, particularly when they involve independent directors who play a key role in corporate governance oversight. The company said the resignation letter will be placed before the next Board meeting of KSDPL.
Royal Orchid added that it is assessing the legal and compliance implications of the development and will keep the exchanges informed of any material updates. The company, however, did not specify the reasons behind the resignation or indicate whether a replacement is being considered.
For shareholders, the disclosure signals a governance update rather than an operational shift, at least for now. Market participants will likely watch for further clarity in the coming days, especially if the exit has any bearing on ongoing projects or strategic decisions at KSDPL.
