New Delhi: IT services major Tech Mahindra on Monday said it has entered exclusive negotiations with Orange Business to forge a five-year global strategic partnership focused on AI-led digital transformation, automation and secure enterprise platforms.

The proposed non-equity alliance aims to combine Orange Business’ leadership in networks, cloud and cybersecurity with Tech Mahindra’s integration capabilities and delivery scale to fast-track next-generation solutions for international enterprise customers.
Under the arrangement, Orange Business will outsource a portion of its global customer support, quote-to-bill operations and post-sales teams outside France to Tech Mahindra. However, the French domestic business and sensitive sovereign segments, including national security and defence clients, will remain outside the scope of the partnership to ensure compliance with French and European regulations.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen Orange Business’ competitiveness across global markets through a joint go-to-market strategy and deeper regional engagement. For Tech Mahindra, the deal offers economies of scale and access to Orange’s global infrastructure and platforms to build new value-added digital services.
Aliette Mousnier-Lompré, CEO of Orange Business, said the partnership would act as a “significant growth catalyst,” helping the company scale its international footprint and reinforce its ambition to become a global leader in secure enterprise connectivity.
Mohit Joshi, CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra, said the partnership would “shape the future of enterprise connectivity and digital experiences,” enabling enterprises to accelerate transformation in an increasingly connected world.
The companies said a comprehensive review of operations, processes and performance metrics will be undertaken to identify areas where Tech Mahindra’s delivery capabilities can enhance speed, scalability and efficiency.
Orange Business, the enterprise arm of telecom operator Orange, has a presence in 65 countries and serves over 30,000 B2B customers globally. Tech Mahindra, part of the Mahindra Group, employs over 149,000 professionals across 90 countries and services more than 1,100 clients worldwide.
The transaction remains subject to completion of consultation processes with relevant employee representative bodies.
The partnership comes amid intensifying competition in the global digital transformation market, as enterprises ramp up investments in AI, automation, cybersecurity and cloud-native infrastructure to drive operational efficiency and resilience.
