New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported its highest-ever total sales for the month of February, clocking 66,134 units in February 2026, marking a 12.6% year-on-year growth.

The automaker’s performance was led by strong domestic demand as well as a sharp uptick in exports. Domestic sales stood at 52,407 units during the month, up 9.8% from a year earlier, making it the company’s highest-ever February domestic tally since inception.
Exports contributed 13,727 units, registering a robust 24.8% growth year-on-year.
Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of HMIL, said the company has sustained momentum after achieving record sales in January. “With total sales of 66,134 units — the highest for any February in our history — we posted a robust growth of 12.6% YoY. Domestic sales of 52,407 units are also the highest-ever February sales since inception,” he said.
Garg added that as the company approaches three decades of operations in India, it aims to expand access to connected vehicle technologies and further strengthen customer ownership experience.
The February performance reflects steady demand in the passenger vehicle market, supported by new model launches, technology upgrades and improving export traction.
