New Delhi: Tech Mahindra Ltd on Monday dismissed market rumours suggesting a potential large-scale reduction in its workforce, clarifying that the company is not considering any such proposal.

The IT services firm said it had received queries and noticed social media posts speculating about a significant cut in employee headcount. Responding to the speculation, the company issued a clarification to stock exchanges denying the claims.
“In view of the speculation, the company considers it necessary to clarify that no such proposal is under consideration and categorically denies any such market rumours,” the company said in its filing.
Tech Mahindra added that it continues to comply with disclosure requirements under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and that the clarification has also been uploaded on its website.
The statement comes amid heightened scrutiny of workforce trends in the technology sector, where companies have faced speculation over hiring plans and cost optimisation strategies.
