45 Dutch Companies to Invest After Vibrant Gujarat 2024

Marisa Gerards, Ambassador of the Netherlands, said that for an upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit, 45 Companies had already signed up. This vast deal has happened due to the existing business and investment in Gujarat. While stating her statement a day before the official inauguration of the three-day summit, she said that to strengthen relations with India, they were looking for an opportunity and wanted to invest more.

The Netherlands is called the gateway to Europe with having ports and logistics to be their strong suit, besides agriculture, hydrogen-based energy, and semi-conductors, Marisa Gerards, recognizing a pattern, said that considering the sectors described above and Gujarat being a gateway to India, Dutch companies want to invest more in India and build a business.

According to Amlan Bora, the Chief Representative for India cum Trade and Investment Commissioner, Netherlands Business Support Office, it is anticipated that Netherlands-based companies are likely to sign prospective investment agreements with a total value of 3.6 billion Euros at the Submit.

Since the Netherlands Business Support Office is participating for the 4th time, the delegation will be led by Marisa Gerards, the Netherlands ambassador to India. NBSO also set forth to open more offices in India. Currently, it has two offices in India, one in Ahmedabad and the other in Hyderabad.

Snapping back to the Vibrant Global Gujarat Summit, which was started in the year 2003 by our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when he was the Chief Minister of the Gujarat state to be a significant platform for promoting economic growth and innovation and collaborations. This year, more than 100 countries are participating as visitors to trade shows, while 33 countries are participating as partners.
