Visakhapatnam | November 16, 2025:

In a major step toward modernising its supply-chain infrastructure, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) to digitise and streamline the state’s logistics ecosystem through the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP).
The MoU was signed in the presence of Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the sidelines of the 30th CII Partnership Summit held in Visakhapatnam on 14 November 2025.
Real-Time Visibility for Stakeholders
Under the collaboration, a robust integrated digital platform will be created to provide real-time visibility into the state’s logistics operations, enabling both government bodies and private stakeholders to access live data, performance metrics, and logistics-related insights.
The platform aims to improve efficiency, coordination, and decision-making across sectors by unifying logistics information under a single digital interface.
Integrated Logistics Dashboard for Andhra Pradesh
The Government of Andhra Pradesh, through INCAP, will work with NLDSL to build an integrated logistics dashboard for monitoring key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) across state departments.
The dashboard will generate analytical insights and actionable reports, supporting upgrades to the state’s logistics network and strengthening policy implementation under the National Logistics Policy (NLP).
A Milestone for Modern Logistics Infrastructure
NICDC CEO & MD and NLDSL Chairman Rajat Kumar Saini were present during the signing. The MoU was formally executed by C. V. Praveen Adithya, VC & MD, INCAP, and Takayuki Kano, CEO of NLDSL.
Officials say the partnership represents a significant milestone in integrating advanced technology with logistics development, helping position India as a global leader in efficient and resilient supply-chain systems.
ULIP: India’s Logistics Digital Backbone
ULIP serves as a national digital gateway, allowing stakeholders to access logistics datasets from multiple government systems through API-based integration.
Key highlights of ULIP include:
- Integration with 44 systems across 11 ministries
- 136 APIs covering more than 2,000 data fields
- Over 210 applications built on ULIP
- More than 200 crore API transactions completed
Beyond private sector use, ULIP also supports data-driven governance by delivering synthesized logistics insights to ministries and state governments, including Coal, FCI, and several state departments.
