New Delhi: In a boost to its manufacturing efficiency, Berger Paints India Limited announced the commencement of commercial production at its new resin plant in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, effective February 4, 2026.

The fully automated facility represents a significant step in the company’s cost-optimization strategy. Resins are a critical raw material in paint manufacturing, and in-house production typically allows for better margin control and supply chain stability.
”The facility is expected to bring down the cost of production,” the company noted in its exchange filing.
Located in the Industrial Growth Centre at Thumukunta Village, the plant has an annual production capability of 12,000 MT. This marks a continued expansion of Berger’s footprint in Andhra Pradesh, following its initial major water-based paint unit inaugurated in the same region in 2014.
The project was completed with an investment exceeding ₹78 crore, reinforcing the company’s commitment to scaling its industrial infrastructure across India.
