On February 21, in the afternoon, in Partapur, within the Meerut District of Uttar Pradesh State, a fire broke out in a chemical factory, though the cause of the fire is still unknown and police are still investigating.

Chemical factory fire in Meerut, UP: No casualties reported

Immediately after the fire was reported in the factory, the fire department responded and controlled the fire within one day, and as of now, zero casualties or deaths have been reported by the police and fire departments.

Partapur is located roughly 50 kilometres (31 miles) northeast of Noida and acts as a critical industrial zone in the region. The police department in action has already diverted all the roads near the factory and evacuated people from nearby areas for safety.

Routes leading to the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Airstrip and all the vehicles nearby have already been evicted, and police are still working with locals to evacuate and save people as much as possible. On the other hand, the investigation is still going on.
