New Delhi: Fino Payments Bank on Tuesday said it will migrate its core banking system (CBS) to a next-generation platform, Finacle, as part of its ongoing digital transformation and technology upgrade programme.

In a regulatory filing, the bank said the migration activity is scheduled from January 8, 2026, 10 pm to January 10, 2026, 11.59 pm, during which all banking services will remain unavailable. The bank said it has begun communicating the planned downtime to customers to help them plan transactions accordingly.
According to the bank, the new core banking system will act as its digital backbone, enabling higher operational efficiency, improved scalability and stronger system resilience. The platform is also expected to support faster rollout of new products and features, enhance service delivery across customer touchpoints, and strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance.
Fino Payments Bank said the CBS migration is aligned with its strategy to leverage technology to improve customer experience and support future growth. The disclosure has been made in compliance with SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015, and will also be hosted on the bank’s website.
Technology upgrades in the payments bank segment have gained pace as lenders look to improve reliability, expand product offerings and meet rising digital transaction volumes.
