The Asna Cyclone has led to 50% more rainfall than normal. The cyclone has Saurashtra and Kachchh as the main targets. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) already issued a warning. The cyclone is making conditions worse in the affected places. If we talk about Saturday morning, it was near Naliya (Gujarat) with a distance of only 310 km. Where Will Gujarat Cyclone Head Now?

Being in the west of Naliya and southwest of Karachi, the cyclone will move to the west-northwest and northeast Arabian Sea. It started in Kutch, Gujarat. However, it does not make much impact there. The wind speed may increase in the area along with Saurashtra. It may continue from 31 August 2024 to 1 September 2024. During these conditions, it can be dangerous to move around the sea coast. Thus, the IMD warned the fishermen to not go to sea during the waves.

IMD leaves the warning, especially for the Northeast and East-Central Arabian Sea for the states like Gujarat and Maharashtra. The data shows unexpectedly heavy rainfall in Kuchchh which is 50% more than normal. It led to situations of floods in the area. There can be light to moderate rainfall in the area. The city has a total rainfall of 882 mm starting from 1 June to now. The area ahead falling in the centre can also have light rainfall. It includes cities like Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

A lot of roads are blocked due to floods. The parts of bridges like Sir PN Road have washed away. While the roads are closed from Padana Patiya to Changa Patiya. The traffic is going unmanageable. The army is taking up rescue operations in the different areas affected due to the Asna cyclone. More people are adding up to the sanitation workers team to join them at Vadodara for cleaning the affected places. There will be 350 sanitation workers in the area.

Cyclone Asna will have heavy rain on the Indian coast for the next 24 hours. Several areas are affected due to floods. IMD also advised people in the affected areas to stay inside their houses for the next 24 hours. The cleaning service is taking place. There are a lot of people stuck in different places.
