Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced that SES ESG Research Private Limited has assigned the company an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating of 62.2. The information, available on the SES ESG Research website, was disclosed by HPCL to BSE and NSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
In its filing, HPCL stated that it had not engaged SES ESG Research Pvt. Ltd. for conducting the ESG evaluation. The rating has been prepared independently by the agency using data in the public domain.
The company has shared the link to SES ESG Research’s published reports for investor reference. HPCL noted that the disclosure is being made to ensure transparency and maintain compliance with SEBI’s reporting norms.
