New Delhi: InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, the parent of IndiGo, has clarified that it has already submitted its response to the show-cause notice issued by aviation regulator DGCA, after the authority extended the original deadline, the company said in a filing to stock exchanges.

The clarification came after NSE sought comments on a news report published by the Economic Times on December 8, titled “DGCA extends deadline for IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers’ reply to show-cause notice; warns of action upon failure.
IndiGo said the DGCA had initially given 24 hours—through a notice dated December 6—to file its reply.
The regulator later revised the deadline to 6:00 pm on December 8, following which the airline submitted its response within the extended window.
The company did not comment on the contents of the show-cause notice, but the DGCA’s warning of possible action had prompted heightened regulatory scrutiny, leading to the exchange seeking formal clarification under its surveillance mechanism
IndiGo said the query had been taken on record and reaffirmed that its response to the DGCA is complete.
