New Delhi: InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) addressed a news report regarding a potential DGCA probe into massive flight cancellations that had significantly disrupted its operations for two days.

The airline, in a submission to the stock exchanges on December 4, 2025, clarified that it is “not aware of any probe” by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), though it confirmed the DGCA has “sought certain information” in connection with the matter, which the company is in the process of providing. IndiGo attributed the widespread operational challenges to a “multitude of unforeseen operational challenges” including minor technology glitches, schedule changes linked to the winter season, adverse weather conditions, and the implementation of updated crew rostering rules (Flight Duty Time Limitations).
