New Delhi: InterGlobe Aviation-run IndiGo on Friday said it will operate more than 2,000 flights today, marking a steady recovery in operations after disruptions earlier this week. The airline said all its 138 domestic and international destinations are now fully connected, with on-time performance returning to normal levels.

According to the airline, IndiGo operated over 1,950 flights on Thursday with just four cancellations, primarily due to adverse weather conditions. The company said affected passengers were informed in advance to minimise inconvenience
Flight operations have gradually improved over the past five days. IndiGo flew more than 1,700 flights on December 8 with a single cancellation, rising to over 1,800 flights on December 9 with no cancellations. Operations crossed 1,900 flights on December 10, followed by over 1,950 flights on December 11. The airline expects to operate more than 2,050 flights on December 12 under its revised, scaled-down schedule.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s listing norms and has also been uploaded on the company’s website.
IndiGo, India’s largest airline by market share, has been focusing on restoring operational stability amid weather-related and network adjustments, even as peak-season travel demand remains strong.
