New Delhi: IndiGo said it has restored its entire network and is operating more than 1,800 flights on Sunday, marking a sharp recovery from last week’s large-scale disruptions. The airline, in a statement to the exchanges, said operational performance has “considerably and consistently improved” with on-time performance touching 90% across the network—up from about 75% a day earlier.

The airline said cancellations have been minimised and all affected customers were informed in advance. “Today, we are all set to operate over 1800 flights, connecting all stations that we operate to,” the company said, adding that yesterday’s schedule saw around 1,650 flights.
IndiGo said it has moved to clear backlogs and expedite customer assistance after the disruptions earlier this month. The carrier has already processed refunds worth ₹827 crore, with remaining payouts for cancellations up to December 15 underway. Between December 1 and 7, the airline arranged over 9,500 hotel rooms, nearly 10,000 cabs and buses, and delivered more than 4,500 delayed bags, with the remaining expected to be cleared within 36 hours.
The airline said it is currently assisting over 2 lakh customers daily through various communication channels. Customers have been advised to check real-time flight status before departing for airports.
‘Fully Compliant with FDTL Norms’
Responding to questions around regulatory compliance amid the disruptions, IndiGo reiterated that its operations “are fully compliant with all FDTL norms and safety regulations,” and that it continues to coordinate with authorities to restore full normalcy.
The airline also issued a public apology for the inconvenience caused. “We sincerely regret the disruptions in the past few days and are deeply grateful for our passengers’ patience,” an IndiGo spokesp erson said.
