In a press statement filed with stock exchanges under SEBI’s disclosure rules, the airline said the number of cancellations has now fallen below 850 flights, a notable improvement from the previous day.

The airline said its teams are focused on restoring schedules, reducing delays and assisting affected passengers, acknowledging the ongoing strain on flyers. IndiGo reiterated that it is addressing all customer refunds on priority and is coordinating with airports and partners to ensure timely updates.

Passengers have been advised to check real-time flight status on IndiGo’s website before heading to the airport, given that schedules remain fluid. The airline is also directing customers to its refund portal and customer support channels for assistance.

IndiGo expressed gratitude towards its employees and ground staff for “tireless support” during the disruption, adding that it “sincerely apologizes” for the inconvenience caused. The airline said it remains fully focused on bringing operations back to normal at the earliest.
