Under the partnership, Infosys will act as a strategic delivery partner, bringing its expertise in AI, cloud and cybersecurity to help Citizens advance an AI-first operating model. The engagement will leverage Infosys Topaz Fabric, the company’s multi-layer AI platform designed to integrate infrastructure, models, data, applications and workflows into an agent-ready ecosystem, to build scalable capabilities and shorten time-to-market for digital financial products.

The new hub builds on an existing relationship between the two companies focused on AI transformation, and is expected to embed advanced technologies deeper into Citizens’ technology landscape to drive efficiency, resilience and innovation at scale. Infosys said the initiative would also reinforce the US bank’s positioning as a technology-driven regional lender while showcasing its own capabilities in developing AI-enabled operating models for financial institutions.

Michael Ruttledge, chief information officer and head of enterprise technology and security at Citizens, said the hub reflects the bank’s long-term commitment to building modern, secure and intelligent banking capabilities by integrating AI at the core of operations. Dennis Gada, EVP and global head of banking and financial services at Infosys, said the collaboration would help Citizens modernise faster while delivering improved customer experiences, using the firm’s financial services expertise and the Topaz Fabric platform.

The tie-up comes as global banks step up investments in AI-led platforms to streamline operations, enhance security and roll out personalised digital services, creating fresh opportunities for IT services firms to deepen strategic partnerships in the financial services sector.
