Two major investment funds were launched this month to support Indian startups:

Investment Boost: New Funds to Power the Startup Ecosystem

1. LC Nueva Investment Partners
LC Nueva announced a fund with a corpus of ₹150 crore ($18 million), with an additional ₹100 crore ($12 million) greenshoe option. The fund aims to support early-stage startups, especially those focusing on deeptech, AI, and automation.

2. Northern Arc’s Finserv Fund
Northern Arc unveiled its ₹1,500 crore ($178.5 million) Finserv Fund, which is set to back fintech and financial services startups. The fund aims to strengthen the fintech sector by supporting companies focused on digital payments, neo-banking, and credit solutions.

These funds are seen as critical lifelines for startups, especially at a time when global VC investments have become cautious. The inflow of funds will allow Indian startups to secure fresh capital for R&D, market expansion, and product development.
