New Delhi: L&T Finance Ltd on Monday said its retail disbursements surged around 49% year-on-year to an estimated ₹22,690 crore in the December quarter, reflecting strong momentum across key lending segments.

According to a business update filed with stock exchanges, rural business finance disbursements rose to about ₹6,740 crore in Q3 FY26 from ₹4,599 crore a year ago, while farmer finance increased to nearly ₹2,780 crore. Urban finance remained the largest contributor, growing to around ₹9,670 crore during the quarter. SME finance disbursements stood at approximately ₹1,550 crore.
The company said its retail loan book expanded 21% year-on-year to an estimated ₹1.11 lakh crore at the end of Q3 FY26, compared with ₹92,224 crore in the year-ago period, indicating sustained growth in its predominantly retail-focused portfolio.
Retailisation of the loan book improved further to about 98% in the December quarter from 97% a year earlier, underlining the lender’s continued focus on retail assets.
L&T Finance noted that the numbers are provisional and subject to limited review by statutory auditors.
