Maruti Suzuki is beginning its exports from India to Japan. It will be exporting its new model Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The consignment of 1,600 vehicles already left for its location. It will launch in Japan for the first time. The complete manufacturing took place in Gujarat’s plant. At the same time, the export was from Pipavav Port, Gujarat.

It is the second time that the Maruti Suzuki is exporting any model to Japan. The first one was Baleno. While the second one will be Fronx. Baleno launched in 2016. While the Fronx model is yet to launch in Japan. The expectations are that the company will release the model in the current year only. Japan is among the top companies in terms of development.

Takeuchi states that the Maruti Suzuki’s new model will receive a good response from Japan’s consumers. While the model is planning to launch in Japan, it already launched in India in April 2023. The SUV segment is currently trending in the Indian market. As people’s purchasing power is rising, they are moving towards buying SUVs. The product is available in different countries like Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

It has a total sales of more than 2 lakh units in domestic and export markets. Maruti Suzuki already completed a good number of exports. These exports will be beneficial for India. It will increase the number of exports from India. Thus, it will also help the country in meeting its export targets. The government is promising different types of companies and firms to export from the country. Thus, the exports will bring more foreign currency to India.

Apart from that, it will also increase domestic manufacturing giving employment to a lot of people in the locality. Thus, It will meet the second major goal of the government as well. The Indian government is promoting exports to the local level also through the MSME exports. There will be an increase in the employment also.
