Bangladesh is going through a crisis. The violence against the Hindus and other minorities in the country is a matter of concern. Muhammad Yunus who became the chief advisor of Bangladesh cautioned student leaders and nations. He is currently in the position of a Chief Advisor which is similar to a prime minister. He stated that he would only continue working on his position if the violence against minorities stopped. Yunus is taking a step towards humanity and wants to normalise the situation in the country.
What Did Muhammad Yunus Said For Promoting The Peace In The Country?
Muhammad Yunus is currently the Chief Advisor. He cautioned the student leaders and the nation to stop violence against the minorities. If they don’t stop, he will resign. The country wants peace. Thus, all need to move together in unity. Else, the country won’t be able to normalise the situation. The violence and fights already took the lives of several innocent people. Thus, it is necessary to control the situation.
A video also went viral where he is talking about his resignation in case the violence does not stop. He asks the people of the country whether they trust him. If yes, then the first step will be to stop attacking minorities. He assured the people to provide them with a better life and normalise the situation soon. Apart from that, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also tweeted on his account. He mentions that India is ready for the required support. He wished Yunus good luck in his role.
PM Modi also prays for the recovery and safety of the Hindu minorities in the country. He writes, “We hope for an early return to normalcy, ensure the safety and protection of Hindus and all other minority communities”. Muhammad Yunus is an 84-year-old leader who took control by forming an interim government. There are some student leaders as well in his support. According to sources, there are 16 interim cabinet ministers.
Yunus warned those creating the chaos in the country. He says that they will have to face consequences for it. Sheikh Hasina left the country after her resignation. As the protest rose, the situation became unsafe for her. Places like Dhaka and nearby regions are the city centre of the country. These are affected by the violence a lot.
