In anticipation of the session scheduled from September 18 to 22 the staff at Parliament is getting ready to make a fashionable statement as they transition to the new Parliament building. The highlight of this transition is the introduction of uniforms that incorporate a distinct ‘Indian’ touch.
When the Parliament employees move to their headquarters next week they will be dressed in these new uniforms. The attire includes iconic ‘Nehru jackets paired with khaki colored pants, which deviates from the dress code followed in parliament.
The celebrations kick off on September 18. The grand inauguration of the Parliament building is planned for September 19 coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. A traditional ‘pooja’ ceremony will grace this event symbolizing the amalgamation of tradition and modernity.
