Before this promotion, he served as the Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Regional Marketing, where he was credited with strengthening dealer loyalty and expanding the company’s “Below-the-Line” (BTL) marketing footprint.

During his tenure with the NIPSEA Group (the parent group of Nippon Paint), Kumar has been recognized for his ability to translate corporate strategy into ground-level execution. His expertise spans across sales management, regional marketing, and color-led brand strategies—a critical differentiator in the competitive Indian decorative paints segment.
