New Delhi: Raymond Lifestyle Ltd on Monday announced the appointment of Satyaki Ghosh as its chief executive officer, marking a key leadership change as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and transformation.
Ghosh joins the Raymond Group from the Aditya Birla Group, where he most recently served as CEO of the Cellulosic Fashion Yarn business at Grasim Industries. In that role, he led a manufacturing-intensive operation with a focus on operational efficiency, sustainability and profitable growth.
With over 25 years of experience across FMCG, textiles, retail and consumer businesses, Ghosh has worked in both B2B and B2C environments. Earlier, he headed domestic textiles at the Aditya Birla Group and led Thai Acrylic Fibre, overseeing multi-country operations. He has also spent over seven years at L’Oréal India in senior leadership roles, including director of the consumer products division.
Commenting on the appointment, Gautam Hari Singhania, chairman of the Raymond Group, said the leadership transition comes at an inflection point for the lifestyle business, with opportunities opening up from rising domestic consumption and changing geopolitical dynamics in international markets. He added that Ghosh’s induction is expected to bring renewed momentum across the organisation.
Ghosh said he was joining an iconic Indian brand with a legacy of over a century and would focus on consumer centricity, innovation and sharpening offerings to drive long-term value creation.
The company also said it has recently onboarded E.C. Prasad, who is expected to assume the role of chief financial officer following the upcoming board meeting.
