New Delhi: SML Mahindra Limited reported a 17% year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales for February 2026, driven by robust growth in the passenger vehicle segment.

The company, formerly known as SML Isuzu Limited, sold 1,503 units in February 2026 compared with 1,288 units in the same month last year, according to a regulatory filing.
Cargo vehicle sales rose 4% year-on-year to 486 units from 468 units in February 2025. Passenger vehicle sales posted a stronger growth of 24%, climbing to 1,017 units from 820 units a year ago.
For the April–February period of FY26, total sales stood at 14,175 units, marking a 19% increase over 11,906 units in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
During the 11-month period, cargo vehicle sales surged 33% to 4,806 units, compared with 3,621 units in April–February FY25. Passenger vehicle sales grew 13% to 9,369 units from 8,285 units a year earlier.
The steady performance underscores sustained demand in the light and intermediate commercial vehicle segments, particularly in staff transportation and institutional mobility, where the company has a strong presence.
