Synopsis: Value fashion retailer Baazar Style Retail reported a 13% year-on-year rise in Q3FY26 revenue, while nine-month sales surged 38%, beating its earlier guidance. Standalone revenue from operations rose 13% year-on-year to ₹4,665 crore in Q3FY26, compared with ₹4,116 crore a year earlier, the company said in a business update to stock exchanges.

For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue climbed 38% to ₹13,760 crore, significantly ahead of the company’s earlier guidance of 30% growth.

On a calendar-year basis, which neutralises the impact of shifting festive seasons, revenue increased 41% year-on-year to ₹17,213 crore in CY25, reflecting the scale-up of operations across regions.

Sales per square foot (PSF) stood at ₹704 per month in Q3FY26, down from ₹826 a year ago, while nine-month PSF was largely flat at ₹745 per month, indicating pressure on store-level productivity amid rapid network expansion.

During the first nine months of FY26, the retailer added 45 new stores and closed seven, taking the total store count to 252, a 27% increase year-on-year. Total retail area expanded 30% to 23.35 lakh square feet, strengthening the company’s presence across key markets.

Same-store sales declined 14% in Q3FY26 across 153 mature stores, largely due to the preponement of Durga Puja to September 2025 from October last year, heavy rainfall in West Bengal, and unrest in parts of Assam and Tripura during the festive season, the company said. However, states outside these eastern markets delivered resilient growth, with SSSG of 8% over the nine-month period.

BSRL said its cluster-based expansion strategy led to short-term pressure on mature store performance, but significantly boosted overall cluster-level revenues, which grew 52% during the nine-month period.

The Kolkata-based retailer said it remains confident of sustaining momentum through continued store additions, operating leverage and a focus on affordable, family-oriented fashion offerings.
