Tata Motors has announced a reduction in its Nexon and Tiago EV prices. This price cut is around ₹1,20,000. It will attract more customers for Tata Motors because of the huge price cut and new buyers in the EV segment will consider to choose Tata Motors because of the designs and build quality which is a strong point of Tata Motors cars. This fall in the price came due to the slight fall in the price of the battery cell that is used to manufacture these cars. However, the recently launched Tata’s Punch EV price is still the same, and do not get the benefit of this price cut.
Tata Tiago EV has been launched in October 2022 at the ex-showroom price of ₹8.49. lakh. Tata Tiago EV has two battery pack options. The former consists of a 24 kWh battery pack with an MIDC range of 315 km. On the other side, Tata Nexon EV has been launched with the price of ₹14.49 lakh. Nexon EV was launched in January 2020.
