Reflecting the production surge, Tata Steel India’s delivery volumes crossed the milestone 6-million-ton mark for the first time. Total deliveries stood at 6.04 million tons, up 14% YoY, supported by robust domestic demand. For the first nine months of the fiscal (9MFY26), India production and deliveries both rose by 6% compared to the previous year.

Sectoral Highlights in India (3QFY26):

Automotive & Special Products: Reached record volumes of ~0.9 million tons (up 20% YoY), fueled by OEM approvals for hi-tensile grades from Kalinganagar.

Branded Products & Retail: Surpassed 2 million tons for the first time, led by brands like Tata Tiscon and Tata Steelium.

Digital Platforms: The company’s e-commerce portals, Tata Steel Aashiyana and DigECA, recorded a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of ₹2,380 crores, a 68% YoY jump.

In Europe, Tata Steel Netherlands reported liquid steel production of 1.68 million tons. However, delivery volumes of 1.40 million tons were lower on a sequential basis, attributed to seasonal factors and subdued market dynamics.

In the United Kingdom, deliveries stood at 0.52 million tons as the company continues to serve customers through downstream processing. The company noted that enabling works for the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) project are progressing, with the site landscape being reshaped for the next construction phase.

Meanwhile, Tata Steel Thailand saw a 5% YoY improvement in deliveries to 0.29 million tons, bolstered by strong domestic rebar sales.
