Following whistleblower allegations regarding a recruitment scandal, six employees and six business associate firms have been banned by TCS. Chandrasekaran expressed his deep concern over the violation of ethical conduct and stressed the utmost importance of integrity among TCS employees. In February-March, two complaints were received regarding the involvement of TCS executives in a jobs-for-bribes scam. As a result, the banned employees and firms were sanctioned. Additionally, an external investigator is currently examining a complaint lodged in the United States. Chandrasekaran provided insights into TCS’s collaboration with over 1,000 third-party recruitment firms, emphasizing that the RMG division responsible for the scandal handles less than 2-3% of the total hiring requirement.
