New Delhi: Value fashion retailer V-Mart Retail Ltd on Friday reported a 10% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, even as same-store sales growth remained muted due to a shift in festive demand.

In a business update to stock exchanges, the company said Q3FY26 revenue stood at ₹1,126 crore, compared with ₹1,027 crore in the year-ago period. Same-store sales growth (SSSG) was flat at 0% for V-Mart, while its Unlimited format posted 2% growth during the quarter.
The company attributed the subdued SSSG to a timing shift in the festive calendar, with a larger share of Durga Puja sales falling in the September quarter this year. On a combined basis, Q2 and Q3 together delivered a 5% SSSG and 15% revenue growth, smoothing out the festive distortion, the retailer said.
V-Mart continued to expand its footprint, opening 23 stores and closing two during the quarter, resulting in net additions of 21 stores. This took year-to-date additions to 63 stores, with six closures, and the total operating store count to 554 as of December-end.
New stores were added across key consumption markets, including Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, reflecting the company’s focus on deeper penetration in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
The revenue numbers are provisional and subject to audit, the company said. Analysts noted that while near-term same-store growth remains under pressure, aggressive store rollout continues to be the primary growth driver for value apparel retailers amid a cautious discretionary spending environment.
