New Delhi: Infosys Ltd on Friday said a US court has granted final approval to a proposed settlement of class action lawsuits involving its subsidiary, Infosys McCamish Systems LLC, bringing to a close a long-running legal dispute in the United States.

In a filing to stock exchanges, the IT services major said McCamish has agreed to pay $17.5 million into a settlement fund to resolve all pending class action lawsuits filed against the subsidiary as well as certain suits filed against McCamish’s customers. The settlement was approved by the court on December 18, 2025 and will become effective if it is not appealed within 30 days.
The litigation stemmed from class action lawsuits filed in the US, alleging issues related to McCamish’s services. Infosys had earlier disclosed that it had reached an agreement in principle with the plaintiffs following mediation held in March 2025. The company clarified that the settlement resolves all allegations without any admission of liability by McCamish or Infosys.
Infosys said the matter has been appropriately disclosed in its financial statements in line with regulatory requirements. The company did not indicate any additional financial impact beyond the settlement amount.
The court approval removes a key legal overhang for Infosys, even as the company continues to focus on growth opportunities in its core digital transformation and consulting businesses amid a cautious global IT spending environment.
