New Delhi: Awfis Space Solutions Ltd, India’s largest listed flexible workspace provider, has become the first coworking brand in the country to achieve three global WELL accreditations simultaneously, marking a key milestone in its strategy to differentiate through health, safety and inclusivity-led workplaces.

The company said it has secured the WELL Health-Safety Rating and the WELL Equity Rating across 35 locations nationwide, while 15 of its centres have earned the WELL Coworking Rating. The certifications were achieved through the WELL at scale pathway of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), in partnership with The Instant Group.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating recognises operational measures such as enhanced cleaning protocols, indoor air quality management, emergency preparedness and stakeholder engagement, aimed at reducing health risks and strengthening business continuity for occupiers.
Meanwhile, the WELL Equity Rating focuses on policies and design standards that promote fairness, accessibility and inclusion, including universal design features and anti-discrimination practices. The WELL Coworking Rating, launched by IWBI with The Instant Group, covers over 50 features spanning air, water, nourishment, comfort and mental well-being, tailored specifically for flexible workspaces.
Amit Ramani, chairman and managing director of Awfis Space Solutions, said the achievement reflects the company’s “unwavering commitment to creating healthier, safer and more inclusive workplaces,” adding that health and equity are now embedded into the foundation of its workspace offerings.
Prateek Khanna, chief operating officer at IWBI, said Awfis’ scale-based adoption of WELL standards sets a “people-first benchmark” for India’s growing coworking sector.
Awfis operates over 200 centres across 18 cities and serves more than 3,400 clients. The latest certifications are expected to strengthen its positioning among large corporates and enterprises seeking premium, future-ready flexible workspaces amid evolving hybrid work models.
