The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) invited bids from merchant bankers who are registered with SEBI in category I; either alone or in a group, with knowledge and experience in capital market public offerings; to serve as the Book Running Lead Manager (BRLM) and provide guidance to the Government/IREDA.

The BRLM would work with the Government/IREDA to determine the IPO’s timing and procedures, conduct due diligence, provide guidance on regulatory guidelines, and organize roadshows to pique investor interest.

The government will select up to three merchant bankers, and bids must be submitted no later than April 28.

As on Walk 31, IREDA’s settled up capital was Rs 2,284.60 crore. The benefit after Assessment (PAT) for IREDA was Rs 633.53 crore and the total assets were Rs 5,268.11 crore.
