The assets of Helios’s global railway coatings business have been acquired by Kansai Paint Co.Ltd one of the top producers of coatings and paints. The transfer of the company’s assets was finalised on May 1st 2021 after the transaction’s announcement on March 24th 2021. The business assets relating to the production and marketing of railway coatings including the intellectual property rights, research,  development resources and all other assets were acquired from Helios. With this acquisition –  Kansai Paint will become even more of a dominant producer of coatings and paints for the railway sector.
