Rozgar Mela 2024 Details: PM to Give Appointment Letter through Screen

Rozgar Mela is an employment fair introduced by the Centre for Andaman and Nicobar Individuals. This event is scheduled to be done on 12th February 2024. The candidates are requested to be present at the Netaji Stadium in Port Blair. These appointment letters are to be distributed for various posts. As per the details, there are a total of 2,721 people who will get the appointment letter on the day of Rozgar Mela (employment fair).

Also, the candidates from North and Middle Andaman and the southern group of the island will get special bus services and ship services which are arranged by the Union Territory administration, so candidates can reach Port Blair and attend the Rojgar Mela easily.

As per the details, the senior officials of North, Middle, and Southern groups of Islands got a special request from the administration to give the ship tickets/helicopter tickets on a priority basis to the candidates so they can reach the place on time and attend the Rojgar Mela.

The chief guest for this event will be Som Prakash who is the Union Minister of State (Commerce and Industry) and the Lieutenant Governor and Vice Chairman of Islands Development Agency, Admiral (Retd) D K Joshi will be the guest of honour in the function.

All the instructions have been issued by the Centre for this special programme and candidates are notified earlier about it. It will be a good initiative by the central government to generate employment and through this Rozgar Mela, there will be more than 2000 people going to get jobs.
