Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has passed away in a helicopter crash. It took place in the dense forest and fog areas near the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Several discussions are going on about the incident. Whether it was intentional or natural? Thus, the accident left no one alive in the chopper. The President had three helicopters. However, the one in which the President was sitting crashed. There were also discussions about the involvement of Israel in the President’s death. However, the country officially denied any involvement.

President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, passed away on 19 May 2024, Sunday. The incident is under investigation. The specialists are trying to solve the matter to determine whether it is intentional or natural. However, there are no clues related to the involvement of Israel yet. During the rescue mission, several countries, having a good relationship with Iran also sent help to find the President. Turkey’s drone captured a black spot where the accident occurred, marking it as an intense incident. Apart from that, Russia also sent its rescue specialists to the country, as Iran and Russia have good ties after it helped Russia in its war against Ukraine.

Along with President, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan also passed away in the incident with some other officials. After the overnight search, the new came out that the President of Iran was no more. The people of Iran were on the roads all night, praying for his life and safety. A lot of question arises afterwards. Whether Iran will be left scattered after that. Well, the answer is no. It still has the most influential and politically powerful personality alive who is Ali Khamenei. He is also the supreme leader of the country under which the President works.

The country has the first vice president as well. The first vice president often carries the role of President after the demise of the President or when the President cannot continue. Thus, Mohammad Mokhber, appointed as the President by Raisi, will be working as the country’s President until the next elections. The government will have the next elections within 50 days. Thus, there will be a new President handling Iran. The situation is tense at the moment as people are mourning the loss of their country’s President. Several countries have shown their support. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has supported Iran through his Condolences message on Twitter.
