Rajeshwari Srinivasan was appointed chief executive officer of Fabindia Ltd, a lifestyle and artisan product retailer, on Monday. Srinivasan formerly worked for the Tata Group, and his arrangement will become effective this month. According to Fabindia’s statement, she will take over for Viney Singh, who will be retiring after seven years as the company’s managing director and CEO.
